Fellow Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners, we are excited for the new year and more than likely dreading the "clean up" from 2015 and getting our paperwork done for accounting or taxes ahead.

One thing that might have caught me off guard was having enough Continuing Education or CE credits for 2015. If you, like me, have a license associated with your business, you may need quarterly, or annual CE credits.

Like most new year resolutions, I always start off with great intentions to get one credit done each month (I need 10 for one particular license). This past year, I attended monthly association lunch meetings where instruction was taught. I thought I was covered but then I missed one or two of the events (always unplanned) and some of the topics did not apply. As I got into November, I kept thinking, "You know, you should REALLY check your CE credits to date." And of course, I didn't as the holidays, travel and other business needs got in the way. Today, I sat down, reviewed them on the computer (yes, a trick here - scan them in) and joy oh joy, I had more than enough :)

After doing this, I thought that this may be an appropriate blog topic for others and here we are. I also wanted to point out that our sister business, Continuing Education And Training has PLENTY of courses coming online for the new year to satisfy your CE credits. If you don't see a topic that you may need, please feel free to reach out to us. You may also wish to take advantage of our 16 for $16 in '16 incentive below.

Off to conquer another task!
